At Shropshire Petals, we believe every confetti moment should be as unforgettable as the "I do’s", and this June, we’ve created a special bespoke mix to make your wedding day pop with personality.

Packed with colour, charm, and eco-friendly petals, our June Confetti Mix is a vibrant blend of, Icing Sugar, Cherry Blossom, and Amethyst Delphiniums, Honey 'B Calendula, Golden Slumber and Flamingo Pink Rose Petals.

Together, they create a cascade of pinks, purples, sunshine yellows, and bright oranges,  a joyful combination that captures the feeling of summer celebration and pure love. Made from 100% natural dried flower petals, this mix is fully biodegradable, making it as kind to the environment as it is stunning in your wedding photos.

We change our Confetti Mix of The Month each month, so if you land on this blog after June, you can recreate the mix using our Pick & Mix tool by selecting the petals listed above.

The Perfect Wedding for the June Confetti Mix

This mix is made for couples who want their wedding to be full of colour, joy, and laid-back fun. It works beautifully for:

Festival-style weddings
With its rainbow of petals, this mix feels right at home amongst hay bales, flower crowns, fairy lights, and acoustic music.

Creative or boho weddings
If you're planning a DIY, personal day filled with unique styling choices and lots of colour, this mix will suit you perfectly.

Golden hour ceremonies
The warm tones in the mix echo the colours of the setting sun, creating incredible confetti photos as the light dips low.

Summer garden weddings
Bursting with botanicals, this mix adds even more beauty to nature-filled venues and outdoor "I do’s".

Ways to Display Your Confetti

Once the vows are exchanged and it's time to celebrate, make sure your guests are ready for that all-important confetti moment. Here are some of our favourite ways to display your mix:

Shropshire Box
One of our most popular options. Each box comes with 25 individual cones with your chosen petals, making it easy for guests to grab and go.

Confetti baskets
Ideal if you want your bridal party or ushers to walk around handing out petals. Place a basket at the exit or by the ceremony doors, it’s relaxed and looks lovely in photos too.

DIY display stations
If you're going for a hands-on, festival vibe, set up a self-serve confetti bar with scoops, jars, and paper cones or envelopes. Your guests will love the interactive touch.

Confetti Throwing Tips

You only get one shot at that magical confetti photo, so here’s how to make it perfect:

  1. Ask your ushers or bridesmaids to explain to guests when to throw the confetti
  2. Everyone should take a generous handful. The more petals in the air, the better
  3. Encourage guests to throw upwards rather than directly at you. High throws mean the petals flutter gently down, creating soft, romantic photographs
  4. Appoint someone to lead a confetti countdown to get everyone involved

When to Order Your Confetti

We recommend ordering in plenty of time, but how far in advance depends on the petals you choose:

  • Delphiniums and wildflowers (like Icing Sugar and Cherry Blossom) keep beautifully for up to 12 months

  • Larger petals (like our Flamingo Pink or Golden Slumber roses) are best used within 3 months

To keep things simple, we offer a Delayed Delivery service. Order your mix when you know what you want, and we’ll dispatch it closer to your wedding date, so it’s in perfect condition for your big day.
