Celebrating Excellence: Shropshire Petals Earns High Commendation in The Wedding Industry Awards

We are thrilled to announce that Shropshire Petals have been honoured with the highly commended award for Wedding Special Touch of the year at The Wedding Industry Awards 2024 for the West Midlands. Your unwavering support and votes played a pivotal role in this achievement, and for that, we extend our heartfelt gratitude.

The event showcased a multitude of outstanding businesses in the industry, each deserving of recognition. It was truly inspiring to be among such a distinguished group of professionals. We would like to take a moment to congratulate all our fellow competitors on their well-deserved accolades.

What are The Wedding Industry Awards?

The Wedding Industry Awards, also known as TWIA, were established in 2011 and hold the distinction of being the only Regional and National client-voted, expert-judged Awards in the UK wedding industry.

As part of this prestigious event, you, our cherished customers, played a crucial role by casting your votes for us. Alongside your input, a team of expert judges undertook the responsibility of selecting regional finalists in the first round.

The TWIA host prestigious regional awards evenings across the UK to celebrate local wedding suppliers. Regional winners go onto to enter the national awards hosted at The Underglobe, London in January 2024. We extend our best wishes to all participants for this grand finale, and may the deserving champions emerge victorious.

It brings us immense pride to share that Shropshire Petals have been awarded highly commended in our region this year. This recognition is a testament to the dedication and support of our wonderful customers, and we are grateful for the honour.

Wedding Special Touch of the Year

This year, we decided to participate in the Wedding Special Touch of the Year category, recognising the significance of those unique elements that add an extra layer of magic to your wedding day. We believe that wedding confetti is one of those delightful finishing touches that can elevate your special day to extraordinary heights.

The sheer joy experienced during the confetti moment, as newlyweds are showered in biodegradable petals, is something truly special. It's a moment that is cherished not just in the present, but for years to come, often immortalised by displaying it lovingly in a frame in your home. We understand the profound impact such small yet meaningful details can have on the overall experience of your wedding day.

The winner of the Wedding Special Touch of the year category for 2024, was That's Pawfect Wedding Chaperone. Being dog lovers here on the farm, we gracefully take second place. They're a fantastic organisation that means you can have your furry friend by your side without the worry of where they are sneaking of to, indulging themselves in canape's and photo-bombing your special moments!

West Midlands Winners

Other regional categories and winners included, Annabel Sarah Bridal and Tamsins Bridal Boutique for Bridal Retailer, Sally Marie Cakes for Cake Design, Rosette Event Catering Ltd winning best Caterer, Louise Goode for best Celebrant, Kelly Anne Weddings won best planner and Burlton Manor were awarded best Venue (barn) to name but a few. Congratulations to all these incredible wedding suppliers, you have made such a memorable difference to others big day!

We really love what we do on the Shropshire Petals farm, whether it's an early morning start on the flower field picking fresh petals for drying, or creating your bespoke mix of petals in the Petal shed. It's absolutely incredible to know you choose our confetti over anything else, and that you truly cherish your confetti shots forever! From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. It's you that make this all possible.
