There’s something rather lovely about September. The days are still warm enough to enjoy the last of summer, but there’s a definite change in the air. The mornings feel a little crisper, the evenings start drawing in, and the first hints of autumn begin to appear.
It’s this beautiful change of season that has inspired our September Confetti Mix of the Month.
Think warm burnt oranges, deep burgundy, soft creamy whites and natural eucalyptus greens, a colour palette that captures all the cosy, crisp tones we love about early autumn.
Crisp Autumn Tones, Warm Burnt Orange & Deep Burgundy
Our September mix brings together some of our favourite petals for a beautifully seasonal confetti blend.
Inside you’ll find:
-
Icing Sugar delphinium petals – soft, creamy white petals to lighten the mix
-
Burgundy Berry cornflowers – deep berry tones that add a little drama
-
Honey B calendula petals – warm golden tones for a touch of sunshine
-
Burnt Orange rose petals – rich, autumnal orange hues
-
Eucalyptus leaves – natural green tones and plenty of texture
Together, they create a gorgeous mix that feels unmistakably autumnal without being overly dark or traditional.

Perfect for an Autumn Wedding
Autumn weddings are all about embracing the beauty of the season, and this mix is made for it.
The warm orange and burgundy tones would look beautiful against rustic barn venues, woodland settings and countryside celebrations, while the soft Icing Sugar petals keep the palette feeling light and romantic.
We love the idea of pairing this mix with warm neutral bridesmaid dresses, similar toned dried flowers, dried foliage and plenty of natural textures. Think linen, wooden details, candlelight and flowers in rich autumnal shades.
And, of course, the combination of smaller petals and larger rose petals means there’s plenty of movement as your guests throw them, creating those all-important confetti photographs.

Naturally Beautiful & Biodegradable
Like all Shropshire Petals confetti, our September Mix of the Month is made from real dried flower petals.
Our petals are 100% natural and biodegradable, making them a beautiful choice for couples who want their confetti moment to be kind to the environment too.
We grow many of the flowers we use right here on our family-run farm in Shropshire, before carefully picking and drying them ready to become confetti.
So when you throw your petals, you’re not only creating a beautiful moment, you’re celebrating with something that comes from nature and can naturally return to it.

How Much Confetti Do You Need?
Wondering how much confetti you’ll need for your wedding?
As a handy guide, 1 litre provides around 10–12 handfuls, while 5 litres provides around 50–60 handfuls.
We usually recommend having enough for at least half of your guests to throw confetti. So, for 100 guests, 5 litres would give you enough for around 50–60 handfuls, or go for 10 litres if you’d like everyone to join in.
Not sure what you need? Our handy Confetti Calculator can help you work it out.
