September 1st, we can't quite believe it but we are extremely excited as we are bringing to you our Autumnal themed Mix of the Month. Autumn is one of the most colourful and beautiful seasons, and truth be told our absolute favourite. We're all about the cosy jumpers, colourful walks with golden crunchy leaves, beautiful clear blue sky's (when it isn't raining) and hot chocolates.

There really is nothing dreamier than getting married in Autumn, the glorious vibrant colours in nature and atmospheric weather sets the perfect scene for a natural backdrop and the most perfect lighting for your photographer to capture your joyous occasion. We also love the fact that the darker, chiller evenings mean you can opt to have more romantic touches, like outdoor fire pits, sparklers and some pretty epic firework displays!

The rich russet colour scheme that comes to mind when autumn is mentioned is defiantly what inspired us to create this 100% biodegradable, eco-friendly and dye-free mix.

Burgundy, Cream and Rich Orange Tones

This wonderful confetti Mix of the Month is a combination of Burgundy Berry Cornflower, Pinch of Plum delphiniums, our ombre Dawson Wine rose petals and also Sunset roses too. We think you'll agree that the burgundy, cream and rich orange hues of this gorgeous mix truly compliment the warm colour of the autumn colour palette.

Not only will it make for a stunning confetti shot, it will also set a romantic tone scattered down the aisle on rustic log slices, amongst lanterns filled with pillar candles for atmospheric lighting. We can even envision it sprinkled on tablescapes paired with burgundy card stock place names etched in gold foil, wildflowers to enhance the nature element, tall forest green candles, hessian napkins, pines cones and even pumpkins too.

How to Display Your Biodegradable Confetti

What's great about this biodegradable and eco-friendly mix is that it's very versatile and will work for a rustic, bohemian or country theme wedding.

If you're planning a rustic or countryside theme, we would suggest our Kraft Sachets or Kraft Display Box. Also, something rustic like our Confetti Baskets would look lovely against burgundy bridesmaid's dresses. Your bridesmaids can then carry the confetti baskets around ensuring each of your guests grab a handful and are prepared for the confetti throw. This is also the perfect time for the bridesmaids to mention to the guests to throw the confetti high in the air. It sounds like common sense we know, but it would surprise you how many people throw it at the newlyweds' feet or face!

Looking for something extra special? Take a look at our personalised Woodland Kraft Pillows they would look perfect placed on your guests' seats.

Confetti All Year Round

September can sometimes still be warm enough to have an outdoor wedding but on the other hand the weather can be windy and damp. That doesn't mean you have to scrap the confetti shot - take it indoors (always check with your venue first). You could opt to have your confetti thrown as you walk down the aisle, cutting your cake or during your first dance.

As this mix contains small and large petals, it's got a fantastic mixture of textures and fall rates, giving your wedding photographer lots of time to get the shot.

If you are not allowed to throw it indoors why not get your guests create a funnel with umbrella's outside? Matching your colour scheme of course -there's always a way to throw confetti! Our Kraft Confetti Pops would be ideal for this, as the confetti won't blow away while the guests are getting themselves prepared. They are easy to use, simply pop the top, hold them high and throw the confetti.

Always ask your wedding photographer, they've done this a hundred times over so will have plenty of suggestions on how you can get the perfect shot if the weather is not in your favour.
