Three Cheers for the Queen, Hip Hip Hooray...

Back in July The Queen paid a visit to Cosford for the Shropshire Diamond Jubilee Pageant.  We were lucky enough to have a stand there as part of the Chamber of Agriculture and saw almost 40,000 people welcoming the Queen to Shropshire.  There was a magnificent parade with 5,000 school children taking part.  A fantastic day was had by all and we think everyone really did do Shropshire proud in welcoming Her Majesty.

Now the exciting news...

The day after the pageant we opened the Shropshire Star to see a brilliant write up on the pageant full of photos and information about the day, but there was one photo in particular that caught our eye, the double page spread in the centre of the paper stood out and was such a fabulous photograph.  So we've been working away to get the photo to show you all and this morning it arrived.

The photo was taken at the end of the parade when everyone gave three cheers for the Queen.  All the flags were flying and Shropshire Petals had provided the confetti, this photo really shows the confetti being thrown in celebration. 

So three cheers for the Queen, Hip Hip Hooray...!
