The Oxfam Wedding Auction Round-Up

We're so pleased that the Oxfam wedding Auction raised £38,091! Being only advertised on blogs and facebook this is a pretty amazing achievement.
Launched on the eve of the anniversary of the Royal Wedding, from the 29th April to the 9th May there was chance to bid on a wide number of items donated by companies in the wedding industry.  All monies raised have gone to Oxfam Unwrapped's emergency work in poor countries around the world.

Annabel from Love My Dress - a UK wedding and lifestyle blog is an ambassador of Oxfam Weddings and helped pull togehter all the prizes and curated the Love My Dress photoshoot in support of the auction.

There were so many fab donations to bid on including a flower girl dress by Nicki Macfarlane who made the Duchess of Cambridge's bridesmaids' dresses last year.  Also lots of wedding extras like 'Rachel Simpson' shoes, flowers from Blooming Green Flowers, a 'cheese' cake from House of Cheese and a video package from 'Shoot it Yourself'... just to name a few of my favourite's from the list but there was so much to offer, and of course a nice bit of Confetti from Shropshire Petals, we were so pleased to be asked to take part.

Love as always SP x x
