SP on the road to the Scottish Wedding Show

We'll so far this year we've been off on the road to Tatton Park in Cheshire and to the National Wedding Shows at both the NEC in Birmingham and Olympia in London so this time we thought we'd push the boat out- or should I say our Shropshire Petals landrover discovery- and headed off up north.  A long long way up north, all the way to Glasgow! Yes we have spent a fantastic weekend at the SECC for the Scottish Wedding Show, and what a weekend it was!  

With our new vehicle stickers on, we were most certainly taking Shropshire Petals on the road, did you see us on our way? Taking our confetti up North to Scotland with oure colourful printing presses at the ready to show our wide selection of colours.  

We've just had some new books done that show everyone all about life on the farm here at Shropshire Petals, we think it's really important to show people just where our confetti comes from- a British grown product- right from our rolling fields of Shropshire.  Jim and Jess had a nice pose next to their photos in the book. 

An exciting show full to the brim of wedding ideas, we couldn't resist popping round a few stands.  Katie felt like a princess trying on Tiara's from Silver Mist, Jess had her 'confetti moment' in a veil from Ivory and Co. and we even found a Bride and Groom willing to pose for us on the dancefloor with a dancefloor confetti shot! (we must thank My Mini You for the cake toppers- we think they enjoyed themselves!)

The wheat sheaves went down particularly well at the Scottish show especially this cream rose and lavender wheat sheaf and the thistle sheaf, but the star of the show had to be our Highland Fling confetti - it was simply adored by all! Purple is everywhere at the moment, and who would have thought a confetti mix we named many moons ago would be the big hit for it's first year in Scotland!

One final note, I mustn't forget our Competition winner! The lucky winner of our competition to Win Your Wedding Confetti goes to Leanne Clark! So a big Congratulations and we hope you love your confetti!

It was sad to pack up and leave, but it's not all over, we didn't un-pack too soon as we're off to the NEC in Birmingham for the National Wedding Show next month- the 5th-7th October so hope to see you there!
