Just a little wander...

It was a busy week last week, Jim and Jess went off on their holidays having a nice break before the busy summer harvest! So it was all hands to the pump here at SP, getting your orders out prompt and looking perfect.  But as Emma revealed on our facebook page it was my birthday on Thursday so I took a nice afternoon off and had a walk around the fields, bramble one of our energetic spring spaniel pups came for a good walk/run around the fields and a good day was certainly had!

The first lot of our trials are just popping up- we've some lovely orange and yellow marigolds so I was dying to take some pics!   it was a snap happy afternoon, with our delphiniums looking stunning and in amongst a lovely crop of wild flowers, the bees were buzzing and having a field day (literally, excuse the pun!).  The main flower fields aren't out yet, they're busy soaking up the sunshine and lapping up the rain but the trial area is full of flowers.   

Trials are very important to us at SP, we listen to what our customers are after and we look at the up and coming trends.  None of our petals are dyed here, we believe it's important that all of our petals are 100% natural with no added colours.  We're always looking to expand the range and our trial area allows us to do just that, some flowers work, some don't but you have to take the good with the bad, out of lots of trials only one might succeed but that might be just the one for you!   

Can't be a bad days work when you step outside and this is your view!
