Jack gets his walking boots on...

Hello everyone,

I thought I'd share a little bit about what goes on, on and off the farm in our spare time.  The men are always busy bees for Shropshire Petals, working to prepare the land, looking after the flowers and making sure everything is in perfect condition ready for the busy summer.  I did catch them on the off chance taking a break and decided to snap them with the camera... well with all the work that goes on here everyone deserves a nice lunch break in the sunshine! What better place for it than the Shropshire countryside.

But this month Jack in particular certainly has been working hard, on and off site.  A big congratulations must be said as he's had his walking boots well and truly on, walking 22 miles for charity.  As part of the Young Farmers he walked for 4 3/4 hours to complete the 22 miles around Bridgenorth to raise money for the Holiday Fund for sick and disabled children.  Jack himself raised over £550 which has been put towards the young farmers donation which I hear to be currently over £1,000.  

Congratulations to everyone who completed the walk and a big congratulations to Jack.
