Eco-friendly Wedding with Autumnal Inspiration
Country style farm wedding with eco-friendly wedding suppliers and autumnal vibes.
A small and beautiful took place at the wonderful location that is Lough House Farm.
Given Boris Johnsons restrictions, of only 30 guests per ceremony - we are making light of the situation by embracing the positives of a smaller ceremony. We've been speaking to a number of couples that are having an intimate ceremony with close friends and family this year, with a few also having a big celebration next year with their wider guest list. You could even have your sequel celebration on your 1 year anniversary!

Concept
The concept of this shoot was to capture a small ceremony with an eco-friendly vibe and low environmental impact. The simplicity of a minimal ceremony, with sustainable suppliers adds a gorgeous rustic and eco conscious element to what is sometimes considered an extravagant event.
An autumnal ambience depicted in this imagery, makes it the ultimate inspiration overload, for all couples who are planning a small and intimate ceremony with less than 30 guests.
Eco-friendly Wedding Venue
Lough House Farm is a beautiful rustic barn conversion, nestled in amongst beautiful greenery and woodland. Situated just 12 miles north of Newcastle.
An intimate venue, located on an actual working farm. The ultimate venue for a seasonal wedding, and the eco conscious couple.
What did they wear?
The bride wore an elegant boho styled sleek dress, accompanied with a stunning flower headband to match her beautiful bouquet. The ivory, embroidered vintage style dress was an elegant design that hosted a lace top and cropped sleeves. Somewhat following the rise in 1920 style dresses, that seems to be posing a popular trend in 2020.
Following the stunning autumnal colour palette, the Bridesmaids wore floral hair pieces and knee length boho style dresses in yellow and slate. Complimented by the Groom and Best Mans stunning tweed suits, to match.
A piercing orange tie accompanied with a gorgeous buttonhole posed beautiful additions to a deep coloured suit for the Groom, whilst the Best Man wore a light-coloured suit in the same style, but with an emerald tie and handkerchief.
Flowers and Decor
Moira J Florist used dried flowers in amongst stunning fresh flowers and potted plants, to add a rustic vibe to the table décor. The deep orange, autumnal tone of the wedding was reflected beautifully in the floral arrangements - especially the three handmade bouquets that Moira did such a wonderful job of.
All of the trestle tables were up-cycled from old doors and 6ft round tables. They were dressed with organic and eco-friendly cotton runners, accompanied with candlesticks and vintage bottles filled with fresh and dried flowers.
Food Inspiration
To add an element of rusticity, there was also a gorgeous drinks bar that was made out of a converted horse box - a rather common appearance at boho styled weddings.
The glory of having a wedding in the autumn, is definitely the abundance of seasonal food options, an array of gorgeous tapas style food can sit amongst an autumnal flower arrangement and blend beautifully with the decor, given the colourful food options that are available.
How about an elegant tapas style menu with olives and warm breads to go with your seasonal pumpkin soup - or maybe you want to go for an outdoor street food vendor? Pizza Ovens are the perfect addition for weddings during those chilly nights.
Confetti
To compliment this stunning colour scheme, we provided our gorgeous Sunshine Kisses. This was displayed in a beautiful wooden trough.
Alongside the food, some other dried flowers and some confetti cones was a gentle scattering of this stunning mix, made up of delphiniums and calendula to create a subtle yellow tonal variation for the decor. It also showed up beautifully as a gentle shower effect on all confetti moment photos.
