Jo, Guest blogging for shropshire petals

My arrival for a two week stint at Shropshire petals could not have been better timed. On my first day I was able to help with a photo shoot, and even star in a short film! Photographer Bruce spent a day here at Shropshire petals, working with the team, the flowers and the confetti. The shoot took place in the fields among the many flowers grown here at Shropshire petals, and we were even lucky to get some occasional sunshine.

A few short films were made in which Katie and Jim offer a history of the business, some expertise on the flowers, the process of how they are turned into confetti, how to successfully make a petal path, and why brides-to-be should choose their confetti from the superior Shropshire petals. All of which can be viewed on YouTube by typing in "Shropshire petals". Everyone had great fun posing for photos and acting in videos. Below I've chosen a few of my personal favourite snaps from the day.

Jim and Jess have had enough of having their photo's taken and make a run (leap) for it.

Even the local butterflies are fans of Shropshire petals' blue corn flowers and pop in for some time on camera.

Keep an eye on the website to see the film stars in action when the videos are uploaded; they're definitely worth a watch!

Love as always, SP XX
