Get Mixing!

Yes our big tip for this week is get mixing, have some fun and use what Amy Swales the Showbiz writer for 'Closer' magazine calls our online thingumajig (love it!). Yes our thingumajig is our latest pick and mix tool where you can mix, create, play or whip up your own unique confetti mix!

Amy has been blogging her way through the summer at Closer's showbiz news desk and we were pleased as punch that she blogged about Shropshire Petals, she even had our confetti for her big day.  She's just got married last weekend- Saturday 30th June and picked a stunning mix of icing sugar, cerise and lavender grain- I'm sure it looked and smelt beautiful, we can't wait to see a pic of her confetti shot and hope she's enjoying her honeymoon!

Here's how Amy mixed her petals:

We've had so many unique mixes lately, they're gorgeous! Wedding Ideas asked the question on their facebook page this week, what is your colour scheme? They've had so many replies, it's great for us as we can see the up and coming trends, what will be big this year and next!  I noted quite a few football themes, matching your scheme to your favourite teams colours- that's brilliant, I have to say I went to a football theme wedding like this in February and it was fantastic!

We had some fun orders this week, including one for 1 litre of ocean mist mixed with orange blossom, 1 litre of blush mixed with cerise, and 1 litre of fantastic florett mixed with sunshine kisses and golden slumber, I can just imagine the 3 bridesmaids walking around with their own unique confetti mixes ready to hand out to the guests.  Another order mixed midnight blue with fantastic florett, winter's morn and then bramble and timeless elegance- this definitely will give a stunning shot!

So if you're wondering what to do this weekend, with a big long wedding list of jobs to do, make a cuppa and have a play on our pick & mix section, or the thingumajig, but whatever you call it, i'ts interactive and fun and we hope it inspires you!

Love as always SP x x
