Thank you for visiting our Shropshire Petals Open Day 2015
On Saturday in July 2015 we hosted our first ever open day here at Shropshire Petals in aid of The Midland's Air Ambulance.
The day included tractor and trailer tours around the field, a 'make your own wheat and flower bundle' table, a confetti lucky dip and refreshments.
First up - tractor tours. Visitors had the chance to go up to the flower fields in a tractor and trailer, see the fields in bloom and learn how we grow and harvest our pretty petals.

After the tractor tour, visitors headed into the shed for a cup of tea and to make their own wheat and flower bundle using the wheat we harvested a few weeks ago and fresh larkspur from the field.
Making wheat and larkspur bundles
We were so impressed with all of the amazing wheat and flower bundles you made!
We popped a timeline up on the wall so that everyone could see photos from way back when Shropshire Petals first began, and see how it's changed over the years.

The petal shed was of course open for our visitors to see our colourful confetti and handmade wheat sheaves and have the chance to buy.

Thank you to all of you who popped in to see us on Saturday. We're delighted to let you know that with your help, we were able to raise £300 for The Midlands Air Ambulance. Thank you so much for your support.
Love as always, SP x x
