07/02/2012: February's Flying By at Shropshire Petals...

Whether it's just me but February seems to have got off to a flying start... I think I'm just in eager anticipation of our new website which is on its way! We've already had a lot of orders for our Mix of the Month, it's proving pretty popular, and why wouldn't it- English country garden is a big theme for 2012!

February is a mix of 'pink lemonade' light pink and cream delphiniums, mixed with a touch of 'angel delight' peach freeze dried rose petals and 'envy' green hydrangea petals. Peachy Perfect- Very English Country Garden!

30/01/2012: Yes you did hear the gossip correct...

Shropshire Petals is having a brand new website!  We are so excited about the launch of our new website, it's much more interactive and fun... just what confetti is all about!

But don't worry we're maintaining our traditional farming roots... in fact the website has been designed to show off our natural ethos of life on the farm with 'the shed' being a dedicated area where you can meet the team and the 'shed blog' where you can see just what's going on down on the farm, and a far more natural feel to the site with its hessian background, retro Kodak snaps and a bit of good old fashioned sticky tape!

Traditional farming values are big here at SP, all our petals are hand picked and lovingly packed so they arrive to you in the most perfect condition, just how you'd expect them to!

New for 2012 we're also going on the road, heading out and about exhibiting at wedding shows up and down the country!

We've just got back from our first show at Tatton Park in the beautiful Cheshire Countryside.  The Show went down a treat, we gave out so many samples and had so much fun- just what confetti is all about!  Everyone commented on how lovely our stand was, it was definitely a good start to the new year.  We've just unpacked the car so I'll be putting up our photos in the blog soon so you can all follow what we got up to... roll on the next show!

20/01/2012: January Blues...?

The only things that's blue at Shropshire Petals is our Mix of the Month- Bright blue that is!  Yes lots of people say they suffer from the January blues... but not here at SP, the month is flying by and we're getting all excited for our first exhibition at Tatton Park in Cheshire next weekend.  I have to say that the Wedding Community have just made our day as our Mix of the Month is top of their newsletter:

Doesn't it look fab! Everyone loves the wedding community so we feel pretty good about being top of the list! Our January Mix of the Month is going down a treat though, a mix of 'midnight blue' delphiniums and 'daisy daisy' freeze dried white hydrangeas- it's bold and bright and bang on trend for a deep rich cadbury's purple theme or a navy colour scheme... Go on head over to our shop and take a look...no more January Blues!

09/01/2012: Starting off the year with a brand new show!

Yes 2012 will see Shropshire Petals go on the road to a whole host of Wedding Shows! We'll be up and down the country from London right up to Scotland, giving out free samples and showing the country just what confetti is all about. 

Alongside the National Wedding shows in both Spring and Autumn at Olympia in London and Birmingham's NEC, we've added in an extra 2 brand new shows this year and first stop is Tatton Park... 

Yes we're hopping over the border into the Cheshire countryside for a 2 day event at Tatton Park on the 28th and 29th of January.  The Wedding Show is celebrating their 10th Anniversary so we thought we'd join in the fun! So come see us on stand 319 to collect your free sample!
