Rose pulls the Christmas cracker
The newest member of the SP team, Rose, gives us the goss about how she spends her Christmas...
Meet Rose
Jo, Rose and Katie in their Christmas jumpers with Bramble the dog!
· What
do you love about the run up to Christmas? Have you been busy?
I love listening to all the Christmas songs on the radio (as early as possible
please), it really puts you in the mood! This year my boyfriend and i are making lot of our presents, so we have been spending our evenings
in the shed creating all sorts of Christmassy goods.
· How
will you be spending your Christmas?
I'm having Christmas dinner with my family on Christmas eve and spending Christmas day with my boyfriend's family. Boxing day brings both families together for the traditional Boxing day clay pigeon shoot.
· Any
Christmas traditions?
I love going to midnight mass in my local church on Christmas eve. It’s always
so beautifully decorate and makes a great tradition, singing our hearts out to
all the carols after a couple of mulled wines!
· What’s
the story behind your Christmas jumper?
I am sadly lacking a Christmas jumper so this is my poor attempt to create
one!! However there is definitely one on my Christmas list.
Rose's home made Christmas jumper!
· Favourite
Christmas food?
It’s got to be my Grandma’s chocolate roulade. Though not technically
Christmassy, I can’t stand Christmas pudding so she makes it for me and my
little sister to have instead.
· What’s
your favourite Christmas film & why?
Not really a Christmas film but I love watching all the Disney films on around
Christmas when I’m stuffed full of
food and just want to relax in front of the fire.
· What’s
your favourite of the SP Christmas collection & Why?
I really like the Wheat Wreaths, perfect to hang on your door and something a
little bit different to the norm. I had a go at making one of these for the
first time earlier this week, it was great fun and I was quite proud of it for
a first attempt!

· What
is your favourite Christmas song?
An impossible question.... There are far too many! But Wonderful Christmastime
does evoke happy memories of my cousins and I dancing round the tree when we
were little, so it might have to be that one.
Love as always, Rose - SP x x
