Follow the Bride #10: 1 week to go!

1 week to go until Katie and Graham tie the knot! We wanted to have a quick catch up with our bride to find out what (if anything) is left on the ‘to do’ list…

What’s left to do for the big day?

Enjoy it! We’re off to the Chester Christmas markets this weekend for a bit of fun, with everything ‘wedding’ it’s important to remember why you’re getting married and spend some time together. It’s actually exactly a year since Graham proposed as it’s his Birthday today, so a very special day on all accounts.

Have you got all of the final touches sorted out?

I think so, too late now if we haven’t! Last minute touches can sometimes get out of hand and panic you, if it’s important it will have already been done. The most important thing is that Graham and I have an amazing day with all of our friends and family… and maybe the confetti, yes that’s really important!

Along the way, I’ve had stressed moments, Graham will certainly vouch for that and there’s no denying that every Bride will have them. But then you think ‘stop being a Bridezilla’ and laugh at yourself! All in all yes it is the biggest day of your life but remember why, it’s not about you… it’s about the start of us. And however cheesy that may sound I couldn’t be more excited about it!
