Lavender Wedding Theme Ideas

Lavender is a fresh herb with lots of calming properties and it smells blooming amazing. Here at SP we have put together a few ideas on how to incorporate Lavender into your wedding.

Colour Pallete

The purple colour tones of Lavender are soft and feminine making it a perfect colour scheme for a spring or summer wedding. Let's not forget these purple hues match Pantone Colour of the Year - Ultra Violet perfectly!

Why not mix and match a combination of these Lavender colours throughout your wedding via your bridesmaid's dresses, stationery, cake or flowers. We love the subtle purple gradient used on this three tier cake!

Table Decor

Mason jars filled with Dried Lavender creates an earthy and organic feel to your wedding tables and it's really easy to re-create. Grab some dried lavender and recycled jars or glass bottles and pop the Lavender inside. It only takes 5-10 minutes! You could even use our dried Delphinium Bunches to add a bit of colour to your arrangements.

For an added touch personalise the jars with your name and wedding date, a quote or even add some material of your choice around the outside. Lace material would be perfect if having a Vintage Wedding!
