The perfect petals for a vintage wedding
We love everything vintage here at SP and our mix of the month for March has been a beautiful vintage confetti mix of 'lady grey', 'icing sugar' and 'candyfloss'.
This grey, cream and light pink mix looks great in cones, in a basket, in our Shropshire box or just loose- ready for your guests to grab a handful and throw!
Mix of the month for March
Our mix of the month has inspired me to write a blog about the perfect petals for a vintage inspired wedding.
We love light coloured petals for a vintage confetti mix like our light pink 'candy floss', light blue 'frosted blue' and cream 'icing sugar' delphinium petals. Our 'Summer nights' confetti mix is made up of all three pretty colours and the 'Pink lemonade' is made up of 'candy floss' and 'icing sugar' which is perfect if you're having pink as your main colour.
'Summer Sky' is a beautiful vintage pale blue confetti mix with 'icing sugar' and 'frosted blue' delphinium petals and 'duck egg blue' hydrangea petals.
'Winters morn' has been really popular at wedding shows this Spring among brides-to-be looking to add a touch of vintage to their big day.

We love throwing lots of confetti here at SP, but remember, petals aren't just for throwing; why not use them to decorate for an effortless vintage look.
Decorate with petals
We've used 'delilah' and 'promise' rose petals, 'pink lemonade' delphinium petals and 'wisteria' hydrangea petals to add a touch of vintage.
Why not wear some petals in your hair?? Gypsy rose vintage make handmade silk flower headbands and recently used our petals for their photo shoot.
