Dawn's perfect confetti moment

The SP team are all confetti experts so i thought it was about time that they spilled the beans about their favourite confetti mix!

First up is Dawn! 

Using the petal mixer Dawn created her chosen mix of 'Icing Sugar', 'Honey b' and 'Black Tie'

Why have you chosen this mix of petals?

When we married in 1972, very hippy era, I wore a black velvet liberty trouser suite with a puffy blouse the same colour as honey b, and a black velvet hat

Do you think your confetti mix is seasonal or could brides choose this mix all year round?

I consider this to be personal preference, not everyone’s choice. However I think it is a good choice for winter weddings.

If you could choose anywhere in the world to have your confetti moment, where would it be and why?? (think outside the box!)

Along the Appian way in Rome. It’s the only cobbled Roman road remaining. We both love history and Rome. It has olive trees growing alongside the road with glorious open country views, peaceful surroundings, except for the wild life.

Which Shropshire Petals products would you use to create your perfect confetti shot?

Probably the flower girl basket, so a small number of people can scatter them over us as we walk along the road, just like the Romans did. Claudius had this road commissioned to show Rome’s wealth and opulence as visiting dignitaries approached the capital.

Do you have any tips for brides to be who are hoping to create the perfect confetti shot?

Just go with the flow enjoy every moment, the more natural the shot the better the outcome.
