Meet the Team

The New Big Boss! Recently taking over the flower side of the business from Michael and Rose, their son Jim is hard on our heels to get the job done!

A keen engineer, Jim is always at hand fixing machinery and getting on the tractor, however he also secretly loves working at the wedding shows and learning about all the latest colour trends!

It was at the National Wedding Show last year when a confetti fight between Jim and Jess broke out (we think Jess won!) Needless to say it was a fun day and our slogan was born, Jess summed up what confetti is all about: "Just throw it..."

Braving the cold of 'the shed' Jess works round the clock to ensure every order goes out on time and perfectly packaged.

When it comes to harvest time, Dawn is chief, telling us when to pick and passing off the yes and no's in quality control- not a bad petal will creep its way past Dawns careful eye! Often found hauling boxes around 'the shed' and keeping things ship shape and tidy, Dawn loves looking after her customers.

Her favourite mix is named after her cat honey'b!

The creative one! Usually found under a mass of paperwork which apparently is in order! A secret obsession with answering the phone, Katie likes chatting to customers, catching up on Facebook gossip, blogging away, getting out the latest e-News, taking photos, coming up with ideas and doing all things creative in 'the shed'.

The biggest Elvis fan you could ever meet! Margaret keeps us all in check and up to date, dealing with invoices and accounts. Did you ever think you'd hear someone say..."I just love figures!"

Margaret looks after everyone, is the best cake baker in the world and is a master of multitasking!

The original dried flower expert! The other half of 'The Bubbs' Rose knows all when it comes to dried flowers. Often found hidden under a pile of raffia, Rose is the Queen of the wheat sheaf and always looks forward to harvest time when wheat is a plenty and she can put her creative skills to the test!

Between looking after the grandchildren, asking us 'how many orders today?', 'anything I can do?' and of course keeping Michael in line, she's an all-rounder and never stops!

"No idea is impossible!" One half of 'The Bubbs' Michael is the inventor of the outrageous ideas here at SP! We have three things we never say when it comes to ideas here at SP:

1. It can't be done
2. It probably can be done but it's not worth doing
3. Told you it was a good idea!

Emma is the PR guru for SP! A top negotiator and will talk for England, bright and bubbly Emma loves sitting down with a good cup of coffee ("Eugh I hate tea") checking up on all the latest coverage in the magazines of Shropshire Petals. But a cuppa is always well deserved as Emma works hard getting us there... promotion, promotion promotion, full of ideas and constantly asking 'any new photos!?'
