Can you send me a sample? Is it free?

Yes of course! Just send us an email of the mixes you like or your colour scheme and we will send you a sample free of charge, please remember to leave your name and address so your samples arrive quickly.

Are your petals natural and biodegradable?

Yes of course! Our petals are either freeze dried or air dried as these are the most nature friendly. Freeze dried and air dried petals are biodegradable and disappear quite quickly, just like off a tree.

Do your petals leach colour if they get wet?

Although we have done extensive testing and our freeze dried and air dried petals have no added colour please remember that they are natural products so you could never guarantee that colour wouldn't leach, however this is unheard of.

Please do remember that any preserved petals will leach colour if they get wet.  Any preserved petals are indicated in the discription.

How far in advance should I order?

That's up to you! Our petals don't have a sell by date as such, as long as they are kept dry, cool and out of direct light they should keep in perfect condition for over a year. However for the best quality I would recommend that you order your petals about a month or so before your wedding so they are at their very best for the big occasion.

How much should I order?

We recommend that 1 litre of delphinium petals provides approx 10 handfuls of petals, where as 1 litre of roses/hydrangeas will provide approx 7 small handfuls.

If you are looking for petals for confetti then we always say that delphiniums work the best as they are small and light, taking longer to fall, and there are plenty of them so they look great on photos; they really create that 'confetti moment!' remember you don't have to supply all your guests just the ladies- we generally say half your guests.

If however your thinking of petals for your tables then roses and hydrangeas work very well as they are larger and can look more effective, I would recommend you have approx 1 handful per table to give you a light scattering.

Remember we will send you a sample if you'd prefer to see the colour/look of the petal.

Why natural petal confetti?

Confetti is a great way to finish the serious part of the wedding and begin the party/celebration afterwards. We say keep tradition alive!!!

How much is delivery?

Our delivery is calculated by weight so once your items are in the trolley your delivery will calculate at the checkout

What if I need my items tomorrow!?

I want something that's out of stock, what are my options?

Sometimes items are out of stock because they are out of season, as all our items are sourced sustainably and are natural products it's sometimes impossible to get things in the winter, but we try to order enough to keep us going, but sometimes demand gets the better of us, please ring us if you want an approx arrival/back in stock estimate on 01952 691553 or email dawn@shropshirepetals.com
