Are your petals natural and biodegradable?
Yes of course! All our petals are either freeze dried or air dried as theses are the most nature friendly. We try not to stock preserved petals as this is not a natural process. Freeze dried and air dried petals are biodegradable and disappear quite quickly
Do your petals leach colour if they get wet?
Although we have done extensive testing and our petals have no added colour please remember that they are natural products so you could never guarantee that colour wouldn't leach, however this is unheard of.
How far in advance should I order?
That's up to you! Our petals don't have a sell by date as such as long as they are kept dry, cool and out of direct light they should keep in perfect condition for over a year. However for the best quality I would recommend that you order your petals about a month before your wedding so they are at there very best for the big occasion.
How much should I order?
That's up to you too! 1 litre of delphinium petals provides approx 10 small handfuls of petals where as 1 litre of roses/hydrangeas will provide approx 7 small handfuls. If you want petals for confetti then we always say that delphiniums work the best as they are small and light and there are plenty of them so they look great on photos, remember you don't have to supply all your guests just the ladies! If however your thinking of petals for your tables then roses and hydrangeas work very well as they are larger and can look more effective, I would recommend you have approx 2 handfuls per table to give you a light scattering. Remember we will send you a sample if you'd prefer to see the colour/look of the petal.
Should I bother?
Yes yes yes! Confetti is a great way to finish the serious part of the wedding and begin the party/celebration afterwards. We say keep tradition alive!!!
Can I come to your shop to choose my items?

How much is delivery?
Our delivery is calculated on weight so once your items are in the trolley your delivery will calculate at the checkout
What if I need my items tomorrow!?
That's not a problem, we offer next day delivery on most items, the only reason we don't offer it on everything is because we hand make a lot of items and that can take time, but if you really want something please don't hesitate to ask us please call 01952 691331 or email angela@shropshirepetals.com
I want something that's out of stock, what are my options?
Sometimes items are out of stock because they are out of season, as all our items are sourced sustainably and are natural products its sometimes impossible to get things in the winter, but we try to order enough to keep us going, but sometimes demand gets the better of us, please ring us if you want an approx arrival/back in stock estimate on 01952 691331 or email angela@shropshirepetals.com
