Winner of the Maid of Honour Competition!

We recently asked you to tell us why your Maid of Honour is the bee's knees, we were looking for amazing stories of friendship, love, selflessness and comedy. The winning bride wins a relaxing Champneys spa break for her and her maid of honour.

Thank you to everyone who entered our incredible Maid of Honour Competition! We were so impressed with the huge amount of effort everyone put into their entries. It has been so incredibly difficult to choose from so many heartwarming and funny stories, you've made us laugh and cry but alas there could only be one winner.

Congratulations to Grace Nichols for nominating your best friend Helen Storey as your Maid of Honour! You are our winner!

We love Grace's entry because we could totally relate to everything she shared with us. Here's Grace's nomination for her wonderful friend Helen as her Maid of Honour:

"She's driven around High Wycombe with me, windows down, Jaheim blasting out. She's spent lunch times shooting hoops, teaching me to play lacrosse or even more amusingly, how to dive (I still can't).

She's hung around, as my wing lady, waiting for me to meet up with some guy I met at a club a week earlier. She's danced like crazy, in a club, in the street, in Subway at 2am because I thought it was funny.

She's spent her free periods making up games or racing me on wheely chairs, because that's so much more fun than doing work.

She's sat on kitchen work tops eating sandwiches after a night out, putting the world to right.

She's forgiven me for that time I sat on her cat. She's called me up drunk and upset after getting with some guy she really liked, who had a girlfriend and then punching a wall.

She's travelled across America with me on the best road of my life. She's rescued me from knocking myself unconscious after a little too much wine. She's never let me live it down for throwing up on her dad. She even asked me to be her maid of honour.

I love her to the moon and back. My maid of honour. X"

Grace and her head maid Helen will both be heading off for a top Champneys spa break, which includes one nights stay, a tour of the resort and a nutritious welcome drink, use of the resort facilities, access to exercise classes, a healthy buffet breakfast, three course buffet lunch and evening meal, a 25 minute Champneys Treatment, as well as complimentary robe hire and flip flops - worth over £400!
