Create your perfect petal confetti
Hi everyone, it's Ashley here again. During my first week in the Shropshire Petals shed, I've been experimenting with different natural confetti combinations to get ideas on what would give the perfect finish to your wedding. When I'm experimenting, I like to start with a solid bold colour, then add some complimenting colours and finish with a touch of Icing Sugar (white confetti) to lighten everything up. Sometimes I'll even add some large petals in the mix to give depth, these are great for table decorations and for lining the aisle too. If you're looking for throwing confetti, only use a quarter large petals as smaller petals are light in weight so stay in the air that little bit longer to give you your perfect photo moment.
Creating the ideal colour combinations in the shed is a lot of fun, however it can get a little messy and there isn't an undo button in real life, so if I change my mind I have to start from scratch! You on the other hand can create your own unique combinations within the comfort of your home with a nice cuppa in hand, with the complete freedom to change options with zero hassle.
To make your own unique combination you can visit our Confetti Pick and Mix page where you're able to experiment with delphinium, wildflower and large petals. Everything a blushing bride needs! There are 169,911 combinations available when deciding on our natural petal confetti, so there's plenty to choose from! Creating your ideal mix is simple, just click on the petals you love then the pick and mix generator will do the rest! You get to see what the colours look like together and if you're still unsure you can always request a free confetti sample pack.
Here's my current favourite confetti mix, it's bright, fun and colourful. It's made up of Honey B, Raspberry Fool, Icing Sugar and Golden Slumber, perfect for pink and gold weddings.
As if 169,911 winning confetti combinations wasn't enough, we will be adding even more to the mix next week. Make sure to stay tuned!
Lots of love Ashley and the SP bunch xx
