Michael's Excellence Reunion!

It's been a somewhat different few days here at Shropshire Petals, on Thursday Michael had his 'excellence reunion' - what's this I might hear you say!?  Well I was as confused as you, but it was extremely excellent (excuse the pun!) so I thought I'd show you a little bit about it.  

Every year a group of farmers, friends should I say get together for a reunion, they visit one another's farms up and down the country 'in search of excellence!' Delegates include John Thatcher from the popular Thatcher's Cider and Robert Hillier from Hilliers Garden Nurseries.  This year Michael was the host and showcased what Shropshire Petals has to offer.

Michael was an exceptional host, taking the delegates on a tour of the farm and Jim gave an interesting talk on his take over of the flower business.  There was plenty of food which Rosemary had prepared, Jess had picked our first lot of flowers from our trial area which had just come into bloom and there was a lot of good company with the delegates sharing ideas and helpful advice.

Always something new going on at Shropshire Petals, keeps the ideas flowing!
