My work experience at Shropshire Petals

On my first busy day I was given a tour around and introduced to the team. I helped to organize the post and make some lovely samples as well as assisting with the orders coming through.

Luckily for me, the weather has been very sunny so I've been up to the fields here to see the flowers and wheat that goes into the confetti and wheat sheaves.

I was given the opportunity to create my own mix of throwing confetti using the delphiniums and wild flowers and the larger petals for a vintage theme. After a long time pondering over colours on the pick and mix section in the SP website,  I decided to go with the  popular raspberry fool petals, the lady grey petals and damson wine rose petals. I think they match together very well and would make some great throwing confetti for a pink and grey wedding. I mixed it up and took some photographs to show off my project in my work experience diary.

Near the end of the project, I created an exciting pinterest board on the SP profile, so gathered together some of the best photos I took, and some beautiful pictures of pink and grey weddings, using them together to promote my throwing confetti mix.
