February Wedding Trend: Love and Jewels

As you all know February is known for Valentine's Day, but what quite a few of you might not know is that the birthstone for February is Amethyst, a rich violet quartz gemstone.  So we've combined  the two for Shropshire Petals February Mix of the Month. 

February's confetti mix is a combination of 'Amethyst' delphiniums mixed with 'lady in red' rose petals and 'wisteria' lilac and white hydrangea petals.  This mix is a rich mix of purples and reds and is perfect for a February wedding or even for adding a flutter of romance to a Valentine's day surprise.  If you are getting married this month, we recommend our pink confetti cones to really add the romance!  

Alternatively, white cones show off the tips of the wisteria hydrangea petals and make the Amethyst petals stand out, bold block colours always create a big impact for a confetti shot.  Brown craft cones are also a recommendation to combine the themes of love and rustic weddings.

 Our confetti is grown right here on our farm and here's Jim and Jess standing in a field full of the Amethyst delphiniums.  Perhaps a lavender wheat sheaf could just be the perfect Valentine's day present for a bespoke thoughtful gift.
