Disney inspired confetti

Disney inspired weddings are a big trend at the moment. Couples are choosing their favourite films or characters to theme their wedding around. So for today’s blog we have picked our favourite Disney films and chosen confetti mixes taking inspiration from the colours and characters in the films.

Cinderella

Icy white and pale blue, the perfect mix for a Cinderella themed wedding is Icing Sugar and Duck Egg. The contrast in petal sizes will really make the blue stand out on your wedding photos.

Wizard of Oz

Ruby red slippers have inspired this mix. With a combination of Lady in Red, Icing Sugar and Blue Bird, this vibrant mix is perfect for a Wizard of Oz theme. Why not add some Honey’b petals too to add some yellow to the mix.

Beauty and the Beast

A timeless classic romantic love story; Belle’s golden dress is the ideal colour to choose for a Beauty and the Beast inspired wedding. Add a hint of blue and ivory to complete the look using Honey’b, Icing Sugar and Blue Bird petals.

Alice in Wonderland

Who doesn’t love teatime! Inspired by the teatime scene in Alice in Wonderland, we have chosen a delicate pink, ivory and green mix to compliment this theme. Using Blush and Bramble, this mix will look fantastic scattered on tables for some reception décor as well as your throwing confetti.

The Little Mermaid

Ariel’s vibrant red hair and the blue ocean just has to be the colour combination for a The Little Mermaid theme. Using Frosted Blue and Clementine, this mix is sure to create a wonderful colour splash! 

Snow White

Snow White’s iconic red lips is the perfect colour inspiration for a Snow White wedding. We have chosen our Romeo and Juliet mix. You could also add some hints of blue and yellow for an extra touch to your confetti.

Frozen

One of the newest and most popular Disney films in recent years, we just had to choose a mix with blues and pink. This is a combination of Blue Bird, Frosted Blue and Cerise.

The Lion King

The Lion King is all about orange, so instead of choosing a few colours, the perfect confetti for a The Lion King themed wedding would be Ginger Snap. These delicate calendula petals will float gently to the ground when thrown and create a colourful impact on your confetti photos. Scatter some on crisp white tablecloths too for some added detailing.

Pocahontas

Pocahontas loves nature and being free. Combining her flowing black hair and her love for the wild, a mix of Tuxedo and Envy would suit a Pocahontas theme perfectly. Add some other natural elements such as log slices as table centrepieces with a scattering of confetti for a natural, forest feel to your reception.

Sleeping Beauty

Pretty in pink – inspired by her pretty pink dress and long blonde hair, the perfect mix for a Sleeping Beauty wedding is our Pink Lemonade. Its subtle pastel colours will look beautiful as it is showered on you by your guests.
