Autumn Wedding

Hello autumn! It's very chilly here today at Shropshire Petals so we're feeling particularly autumnal. We love this beautiful season, especially the rich warm colours that come with it. We're here to give you a helping hand planning your Autumn wedding.

Autumn wedding planning 

First up - confetti. We love the berry tones in our 'Pinch of plum' and 'Timeless Elegance' recommended mixes. Pinch of Plum combines 'Icing Sugar' delphinium petals and marjoram. If your looking for confetti with stronger berry tones, add some 'Damson Wine' rose petals and you have the beautiful 'Timeless Elegance'. 

A favourite autumn mix is 'Chocolate Sunrise' which is a mix of 'Icing Sugar' delphinium petals and dried sunflower petals which dry a chocolate brown with a hint of yellow.

We've used our pick and mix feature to create a basket full of 'Icing Sugar' delphinium petals, 'Ginger Snap' calendula petals, 'Black Tie' cornflower petals and marjoram. We've combined as many different petals as possible to create this autumn mix!

Wheat sheaves are a great decoration for an Autumn wedding as they evoke images of harvest. We love the cream rose wheat sheaf as a bridal bouquet, the plain sheaf as a table decoration surrounded by petals, and the plain wheat wreath to hang on the venue door to welcome guests.

Why not add some of your own dried or fresh flowers to create a personalised wheat sheaf for your big day to reflect the autumn theme.
