Spooky times here at SP, we've gone all orange and black and enjoying the spooky fun of halloween!

We've used Black Tie and Clementine to create a fab pick and mix just for halloween, so head over to the pick and mix page and have some spooky fun of your own!

Morning all,

It's all nice and frosty here- the countryside looks beautiful when it's all crisp and white... think it's definately time for a nice cup of tea to warm us all up! 

It was lovely to find this amazing picture in my emails this morning, our petals look so pretty- it's just like snow and definately suits the weather at the moment... I thought it was the prefect picture to give all you winter brides some ideas... we love colour here but sometimes less is definately more and this this photo really does say it all.

Thank you so much to Yarwood White who used our confetti on their recent photo shoot, Yarwood White is a gorgeous jewellery desgn company, all their pieces are hand made and all unique to Yarwood-White; they don't sell other people's designs.  We love thier vintage style and were so pleased when they asked us for petals for their shoot... and we think our 'icing sugar' delphinium petals look stunning!

14 Oct 2010 | Shropshire Petals Confetti on the catwalk!

Yes that's right once again our beautiful confetti made the catwalk at the National Wedding Show at the NEC and this year more than ever! The show was amazing with sooo many lovely dresses and for the finale our confetti machine showered everyone in natural petal confetti.  The theme was very neautral, simple yet elegant so we used our 'icing sugar' confetti to compliment the theme.

We usually have the flower girl throwing the confetti on the catwalk but this year we were asked if we could have the petals floating down from the ceiling- so as always we got our thinking hats on and came up with a confetti machine- it's still on the prototype stage but I think you can see from the photos the effect was stunning! And in the photo below you can see the bride and groom walking through to make their final appearance under a shower of floating delphinium petals. 

A big thankyou to the National Wedding Show for trialling our confetti machine, we're so pleased it added that extra touch to an amazing show!

11 Oct 2010 | The National Wedding Show at the NEC

Well we're back from the show! It was amazing!! We've had such a fantastic weekend and everyone loved our sweetshop themed stand...

It was a fantastic weekend and went very well, everyone was commenting on the stand and we were certainly one of the busiest at the show! Thought I'd show you a few pics of the stand, and below we have the shropshire petals ladies, there's Jess, Dawn, Rosemary and me (Katie).

Well it's a bit of a change form our usual scruffs here on the farm, but we do like to go for it when we can!

We were full of smiles and had a lovely weekend.  But there's no rest for the wicked we are back today and so many of you must have been pleased with us because we've had lots of orders come in over the weekend.  We are back working hard to get them all out this morning, though it seems to be taking a little while as I think we're a little bit tired from the weekend! Margaret has brought us cake though so the sugar should kick in soon!
